Flexible idlers

FLEXIBLE IDLERS

Flexible idlers consist of a flexible metal core coated with vulcanized neoprene rubber, onto which a number of neoprene rubber rings (black) or polyurethane rings (white) are fitted. The metal core consists of a very flexible steel cable, with 2 ball bearings (type 1) or 4 bearings (type 2) keyed onto the ends. Suitably protected, the bearings are contained in special hook supports in cast iron.

The belt adheres to the roller and forms a regular trough with an angle of 20° to 45° in relation to the distance of the rings supporting the attachment hooks.
